Overview: Reconstruction of Guard Posts 2 and 4A used as security check points for accessing O’Hare International Airport. Work consisted of removal and restoration of existing concrete pads, sidewalks, curbs, gutters and protective bollards. Underground electrical conduits and wiring were installed for serving power to guard booth controls such as lighting, security hardware and gates. New guard booths were furnished and installed and set on newly constructed concrete pads.

Security operations and guard post access was to be maintained during the construction of the project. Temporary driveways and shelters were installed to facilitate.
