Project – Patrick Henry Elementary School

Overview – Prior to the start of construction, removal of asbestos and lead containing materials in the classrooms were completed. Once that was fulfilled, the work done included the following: installation of electrical and data infrastructure, demolition of existing wall and floor surfaces, installation of subfloors, VCT flooring, refinishing the existing classroom wood floors, removal of existing acoustic tile and tin ceiling systems down to ceiling joist, installation of new UL-L501 drywall ceiling system, removal of existing casework and blackboards, installation of doors, frames and hardware, repair of existing wall and ceiling surfaces, new marker boards and tack boards, new light fixtures, wiring of computer tables, projection screen, paint wall and ceilings, provide additional electrical outlets, data, voice and wireless data access point outlets, remove and replace exterior building coping, remove and rebuild masonry parapet walls, remove and replace steel window lintels, tuck point sections of exterior masonry and remove and replace exterior vertical expansion joints.
