Overview: This project involved the demolition of/within the large and small auditoriums, vestibule areas, stairways, offices, cafeteria area with roof replacement on two areas above the large auditorium. Work within the large auditorium required the repair and replacement of water-damaged areas including wood stage floor replacement and refinishing, plaster wall and ceiling repairs. This involved creating master molds of existing historic cornice, rosettes, strap work, pyramids and rope details to form and install new plaster work to replicate historic details for new ceiling installation above mezzanine area with the removal and replacement of acoustic ceiling tile. Replace damaged ceiling tile above large auditorium. Removal and replacement of theater curtains. Replacement of theater ductwork and grills. Flooring repair and replacement. Removal and replacement of wall and ceiling materials within the small auditorium. Perform modifications within the existing cafeteria for the installation of a new food service line with new underground utilities. Perform the replacement with upgrades to existing door hardware. Roof area replacements with modified bituminous materials while performing exterior masonry tuckpointing. Repairs and replacement of existing roof drainage systems. Repair and refinishing of interior offices and stairways. All new work was performed to meeting ADA accessibility requirements.
